Honoring History: Desert Eagle Films' Commitment to the Untold

Updated: Nov 21, 2023

In the field of filmmaking, nothing stays constant. For 13 years, I've journeyed through the dynamic landscape of global cinema, contributing to hundreds of projects around the world. Now, I am harnessing the knowledge and experience I've gained for a purpose closer to my heart. I am Mo Ismail, founder of Desert Eagle Films, and we are dedicated to bringing our region's untold stories to life.

Filmmaking isn't merely a profession; it's a duty, a calling. It's our opportunity to bring untold narratives into the light, to honor our heritage and give our regional stories the platform they deserve. Each frame we craft at Desert Eagle Films aims to resonate with the authenticity of our region and the depth of our shared experiences.

We now find ourselves at a pivotal point, a juncture where our focus has shifted towards enhancing our region's cinematic culture. We are channeling our resources and energy into showcasing the wealth of local talent and preserving our rich history and heritage. It's a mission that extends beyond the realms of business and enters the domain of cultural preservation.

I'm proud to announce that we've taken our first significant stride in this direction. Our first feature film screenplay, 'Kemet', is a testament to our commitment to honoring our region. It's a project steeped in our shared heritage, ready to unveil a compelling narrative to the world.

Beyond 'Kemet', we are preparing for an exciting journey with the next four films on our slate. Each of these projects is in line with our vision, deeply entrenched in the ethos of Desert Eagle Films: to unearth and amplify the greatest untold stories of our time. These stories will evoke emotion, provoke thought, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.

Our mission is a challenging one, but we know the importance of the stories we are setting out to tell. At Desert Eagle Films, we see ourselves as custodians of our regional heritage, driven by a sense of duty to enlighten the world with our tales.

The journey we've traveled over the last 13 years has built a foundation for us. Now, it's time to step up and redefine the narrative, to honor our heritage, and shed light on the stories that matter. As we embark on this new chapter, we look forward to you joining us, standing shoulder to shoulder, as we chart this course together.

The new dawn of Desert Eagle Films awaits, and we are poised for action, ready to craft cinema that tells our story, in our voice, on our terms.
